Written by Beka Bishop Sarah West, a singer-songwriter from Denmark, recently released her new single, “Feelings." While she currently resides in Nashville, Sarah has perfectly written an R&B song that is fitting for audiences in Chicago and LA. This song is much different than her other songs such as “Best Part” and “I Am.” I personally think the approach Sarah took with “Feelings” is an approach she should continue to take!
Sarah’s voice gave me major Ariana Grande, Christina Grimmie, and even Alanis Morissette vibes. The guitar featured in this song pairs well with Sarah’s voice. I would love to hear a rap or second vocalist featured in this song. Sarah’s voice is pop-y and melodic. She tastefully added riffs on top of the standard R&B beat.
The song is honest, raw, and very descriptive. If after this song you don’t know what Sarah wants, you weren’t listening! She explains exactly how she feels and wants. This song would be perfect for any teen romance movie or tv show!
