With her last studio album ‘Lemonade’ being released in 2016 – totaling a whopping six years. Beyoncé came out with full force, and intention with her latest single ‘Break My Soul’ and newly titled album ‘Renaissance’ set to be released July 29th we are sure to be in for a treat from Queen Bey.

Beyoncé was not playing around when it came to stepping out this summer – with a brand new single, from it’s catchy up tempo, dance beat. It is sure to have you up out of your seat, dancing and doing exactly what the powerful lyrics state. “Release ya anger, Release ya mind, Release ya job, Release the time, Release ya trade, Release the stress, Release the love, Forget the rest.” (Genious, 2022)

The Grammy award winning artist is set to release her 7th studio album titled “Renaissance.” And this is our first glimpse at what Queen Bey has been cooking up!

The single is an anthem for the masses and is sure to leave no one behind. We all know the pandemic – even in its ongoing nature has shaped our societies, and reality on a day-to-day basis. Causing an immense amount of stress, and strain on the average household. With it’s strong, and on point lyrics “Break My Soul” is bound to be one of the biggest hits of summer 2022. In fact, the single has helped earn Beyoncé her “first number one on Hot Dance/Electronic Songs Chart.” – Billboard.com

From discussing being overworked, and feeling under-appreciated which I am sure most of us can relate to. Queen Bey is on point with how many of us are feeling. The song continues to discuss acts of finding oneself and saying it is my time to shine, put me first, and build something in which I can be proud of. And in these rough times – having an optimistic outlook on things suits us well right about now. Beyoncé stated her reason behind her new single and album by saying “My intention was to create a safe place, a place without judgement. A place to be free of perfectionism and overthinking. A place to scream, release, and feel freedom” – Beyoncé Knowles Carter

And what could be more relaxing and stimulating, than healing music. Which creates an oasis that is free of these ideologies in our society. Looks like we will find out more July 29th, 2022.
