Sad Hippie is 3300+Climbing's Next Artist

The word “sad” may be a part of Sad Hippie’s stage name, but it certainly isn’t a part of her vocabulary. The New Jersey native singer/songwriter has a contagious smile and a bubbly personality that couple well with her upbeat stage presence.

In 2013, Sad Hippie was injured and going through personal issues that could have broken her down. But instead, she used those moments in her life to find inspiration. This period of her life led her to her stage name of Sad Hippie! When she feels sad, she feels more inspired. She aims to work with her emotions in order to put out the best art she can.

She finds inspiration from artists like The Weeknd and Billie Eilish, but overall says she finds it difficult to compare herself to other artists. Sad Hippie is, most definitely, in a league of her own.

“Everything I do is based on what I feel,” Sad Hippie claims of her self-curated social media image. Her goals with her music and her lifestyle are simply to be authentic and to always be truthful to who she is as a person and an artist.

On a more personal note, Sad Hippie uses astrology to learn more about herself and the world around her. She refers to herself as an introvert, despite the extroverted impression she gives off, saying she needs solitude in order to settle into her creativity. She is always writing music and melodies, even when her mind is focused on something else! You can follow her on Instagram @sad_hippie
