After finalizing the phenomenal auditions from variety of artist and going through a bit of a hard time to choose a musician, we have chosen an amazing artist! But to know more about our new group, you need stick around until the end…
First, on behalf 3300+Climbing, we want to give a special thanks and farewell to The Haunts. They are a great band, and we both had a lot of fun working together. It was six months full of creativity, positive energy and great knowledge all combined that helped us create wonderful things for the band. It is bittersweet to see them go, but we are happy that they received the professional growth they deserve and that they had a great time while doing so.
Now… The moment you all been waiting for…
It is our pleasure to announce that our new 3300+Climbing artist is… *drum rolls*… VENTURE MOTEL.
We are so happy to roll up our sleeves and get to work with them!
Venture Motel was created by its lead singer, Wilson Bohman, who got his inspiration from the band, Coyote Theory. Bohman started writing and playing music at a very early age, and by the age of 15 he played guitar and trumpet, and was already writing his own music. While he says he wasn’t good at writing music, here at 3300+Climbing we can clearly see his wonderful potential. Still, Bohman had fun while creating his music, and at 17, he wrote amazing songs such as “LOST,” “COME HOME,” and “THOUGHTS,” having the opportunity to perform with his now piano player, Charles Schaefer , a year later.
Now where does the name Venture Motel come from? Bohman recalls how he was driving one day while doing deliveries for his dad’s print shop, and he saw a motel called Venture Motel… and boom… the name stuck. There you have it guys, the creation of Venture Motel. Primarily a solo project, Bohman enlists the help of his friends Charles Schaefer on piano and Ethan Fincham on drums to create a group that is ready to go far in their music career.
We couldn’t be happier to be working with Venture Motel. We here at 3300+Climbing are excited to invite everyone to become a part of this amazing experience over the next six months.
