Bigga$tate is a Chicago based artist who has been creating a heavy name for himself in the industry. This artist’s tracks are all freestyles and they're recorded in one take. Bigga$tate “the artist” began only about two years ago, and he was self-managed until just a few months ago. He had the drive to push his music and show that from nothing you can have bigger things. Bigga$tate even pitched himself to the well know video game Fortnite and became their first freestyle artist.
His flow and lyrical creativity has not only brought him numerous opportunities within the past two years but coined him have “Chicago’s Kenrick Lamar” by ABC news. In 2019 Bigga$tate released a single titled “Lil Baby.” This track gained a lot of attention, as it deserved, within just five days of its release. He also received an invitation to SXSW 2019, where he had the opportunity to perform with some major names in the industry such as DaBaby, Cardi B and City Girls. Bigga$tate has had opportunities to attend many events in which networking was not only vital, but inevitable. These events have lead to his music, specifically his track titled "Actions," was featured on Cind.app, which was the perfect track to represent a 2.5 million dollar dating app focusing on the fact that Chivalry is Not Dead.
His manager Vee, the host of Bagels and Shade, was a blessing and further confirmation in his path in the industry. Bigga$tate came across an interview opportunity with the radio show, and through a connection of personal stories and mutual appreciation for passion and drive, he fell upon his manager, Vee. He was also a curated artist for the 2019 World Scout Expo, in which he headlined two performances as well as auditioned in front of numerous label executives. The World Scout Expo, powered by Rap Plug is not only a viable education and networking opportunity, but an opportunity for artists to audition in front of respected labels such as Epic, and Capitol Records.
Bigga$tate has a crazy momentum going for himself and a drive to match. Within a short amount of time his drive, in combination with his talent and team of support, Bigga$tate has been able to establish a growing name for himself and his music. This year you can expect even more from this artist, including a tour alongside some big names including Bone Thugs n’ Harmony, Lexi Pentara and Veronica Vega.
