The 22nd NRJ Music Awards, which happened at La Seine Musicale, Boulogne-Billancourt, France, due to the Pandemic, was hosted by Nikos Aliagas. This event rewarded artists who have marked the year 2020. Between surprises, cries, and social distancing, we will summary the event.

The NRJ Music Awards awarded major artists who marked the year 2020. The ceremony organized by NRJ and TF1 (French television channel) was held Saturday, the 5th of December, 2020, regardless of the pandemic. From Monday 26th of October until the 4th of December, the public had the chance to vote for their favorite artists and songs, one vote per day, in each of the fourteen categories.

The artists who performed during the evening included Sia, Amel Bent, the Black Eyed Peas, Vitaa, Slimane, Amir, David Guetta, Sia, Louane, and Kendji Girac.
