Highlights from June's Social Scene!
This month’s social scene was a day filled with live performances, thrilling games, and prizes as well as opportunities to network and meet some of the best artists Full Sail has to offer.
On June 26, 2024, Full Sail’s Tree House was bursting with bright lights, new artists, and an adoring audience ready for the excitement. Those who attended the monthly Social Scene were greeted with new music performed by Full Sail students, a chance to get to know your peers around you, and fun music-based games to keep you active.
HERRE
Starting the night off strong, our audience was presented by our first uprising performer, HERRE. In his performance, we got to witness his newest release, “Prioridad”, live on stage. Exciting the audience, HERRE got this night going with his amazing lyrics and moving Hispanic music.
JUAN GUTII
Juan Gutii was about to do more than light up the whole stage, he was about to shock everyone around him with his incredible skills on his electric guitar. With his electrifying atmosphere, the audience was blown away by his guitar covering his songs and a perfect cover of the hit song “Hip Don’t Lie.”
KAHOOT
While waiting for our next performer, the audience was invited to play a game of Kahoot, where attendees would test their knowledge of music culture and Grammy events. The winner of the game would receive a free Amazon gift card.
ASTRO BOY DEZ
Our next performer is a rapper and known live performer named Astro Boy Dez. Not only was his head-bobbing lyrics one of the highlights of tonight, but his message to mental health managed to touch our hearts.
ANX MALI
Our fourth artist tends to carry the hype wherever he goes, and he did not hesitate to bring it today. Anx Mali not only performed his rap and R&B for all of us but successfully managed to interact with his roaring audience and hype them into joining his music. It was bound to be a good night once Anx Mali stepped on stage.
NETWORKING BINGO
Setting up for our last performance, the audience was able to rise out of their seats for an interactive game of bingo. In this game, everyone would walk around the room, communicating with new people to see what they might have in common. This became a great way to meet new people and make new connections.
ANTONIO THORNTON & CHRISTIAN HURSTON
Our last performer needs no introduction. Working together through piano and guitar, 3300 Climbing artist, Antonio Thornton and Christian Hurston were able to soothe the audience with their jaw-dropping performance. Performing his first single, Antonio finished our night with his song, Sunshine. You could stream Sunshine and more of his work through Spotify
and Apple Music. With their combined incredible talents, Antonio and Christian ended our night with a time to remember.
