Bright start for Kenny Koughs, releasing his first solo project in 2020

Kenny Koughs grew up in a small town, where he participated in musical theatre and choir, but it was his move to Florida that gave him the kickstart he needed to start his musical career. Kenny released his first song on July 4th of 2019. Following this came a project with another artist by the name of RootsWill. The two met at a concert and from there created an EP titled “Cycles,” which was released January 2020. This four-track tape is a cohesive collaboration between to hip-hop artists, featuring some headbangers such as “Run (Okay?).”

Kenny Koughs released his first tape as an artist on February 23rd, 2020. The tape titled “Faded,” is comprised of nine songs beginning with a 55-second spoken word track setting the tone for everything that follows. Kenny has been working to not only develop and hone his personal style, but display his versatility which he does on his tape especially with the track "Cool With It." This artist decided to consistently create collaborations with artists across styles of music. Doing this will not only broaden his versatility but create connections with other artists as well. Kenny draws inspiration from not only legendary artists such as Tupac but political activists such as Malcolm X as well. While he has just begun releasing music, Kenny Koughs is off to a fire start and will hopefully be able to grow and expand significantly.

On March 4th, Kenny performed his own show in Orlando, Florida. This event took place at Uncle Lou’s Entertainment Hall. This show not only featured a performance from Kenny Koughs but featured other artists as well. If you are in the Orlando area, you have to catch Kenny again at another amazing performance.
