KYAMI is an up and coming R&B artist from Upstate New York. She currently lives in Liverpool, UK and will be performing at the 2019 Liverpool International Musical Festival (LIMF)! Kyami's debut single, Games, was solo produced by Kyami herself. In this song she tells a story of self-reflection and gaining self-worth. Her debut single has been supported by BBC Introducing and BBC 6 Music! The lyrics in Kyami's music consists of conscious-driven lyricism and she resonates her listeners with a nostalgic feeling within her beats.
Kyami has been heavily into music ever since she was a child. She started writing and performing music as a child which led her into many different styles of art jobs as a teenager. As a teenager she worked as a host of a local open mic, an actress in a local theater company, and she played percussion in her high school marching band. Kyami spends her free time painting and designing. She has always had a love for art in any shape or form!
Kyami moved to Liverpool to attend the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts. After graduating, KYAMI joined the LIMF Academy. She has recently performed at the Liverpool International Music Festival and has gotten support from different BBC stations. Kyami has also opened for SUB BLUE and Yazmin Lacey!
