2020 has turned out to be a very unexpected year filled with people in quarantine and studying online instead of being on-campus. However, there are lots of Music Business podcasts that allow people to stay up-to-date on the business and creative side of music.

Hearing from more experienced people is always a plus especially when there are many parts of the industry. Their website has a lot of content and information for people who want to know more.
Rick Barker's podcast teaches strategies, tips, and other things that help people to gain an insider's knowledge of the music industry. One of the things that make him stand out is that once upon a time, he used to be Taylor Swift's manager, which makes any tip that he gives even more valuable.
This podcast is hosted by Ross Golan, songwriter, and producer who has written for the likes of Maroon 5, Nicki Minaj, Celine Dion, Ariana Grande, and many more. This podcast is aimed at the songwriting and producing aspect of the industry by focusing on the incredible songwriters and producers got their start and what their journey has been like. Ross really focuses on the rights of songwriters and it's always a great idea to know before going into the industry.
This is a great podcast for anyone who wants to know how their favorite songs are made from their favorite artists. It shows the entire process a song goes through from beginning to end including the various changes that are made. The great thing is that it also shows the behind-the-scenes stories that occurred before or during the songwriting and recording process that can inspire any artist or songwriter's creative process.
This podcast is on Spotify and has been running since January 2020. One of the cool things about La Campana is that it focuses on the entertainment industry as a whole. Many topics are covered in an episode with music and its place in the music charts being important topics. As an artist or a music business expert, it's always a good idea to stay on top of which new or established artists are releasing music to understand where music is going.
