“Divorced, Beheaded, Died. Divorced, Beheaded, Survived”. That is the rhyme we all associate as the fates of the six wives of Henry VIII.
That is what “Six: The Musical” is based on. The musical was written by Toby Marlow and Lisa Moss while attending Cambridge University and premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2017, later moving to London’s West End, Broadway, and several more cities. The musical has gone on a national tour of the US as the Aragon Tour, as well as a tour in the UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand. It has won 23 awards, including the Tony Award for Best Original Score and the Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Musical.
“Six” is a 75 minute, one-act concert/musical where the Queens “picked up a pen and a microphone” to tell their tales of their own experiences with the notorious Tudor king. The musical opens with the song ‘Ex-Wives’, where they introduce themselves, and then get into a competition of sorts as to who had the worst experience.

Now, the famous fandom called Queendom, will be getting a second US national tour called the Boleyn Tour. The tour will launch September 20, 2022, at The Smith Center in Las Vegas. The full cast was recently announced: Gerianné Perez as Catherine of Aragon, Zan Berube as Anne Boleyn, Amina Faye as Jane Seymour, Terica Marie as Anna of Cleves, Aline Mayagoitia as Katherine Howard, and Sydney Parra as Catherine Parr. Aryn Bohannon, Jana Larell Gover, Taylor Pearlstein, and Cecilia Snow will also be joining this tour as alternates.
While the Boleyn Tour will not be coming to Florida, the Aragon Tour is still touring and it will stay that way for a while. They will be performing at the Dr. Phillips Center in Orlando, the Broward Center for the Performing Arts in Ft. Lauderdale, the Adrienne Arsht Center in Miami, and the Straz Center for the Performing Arts in Tampa. The dates for these shows can be found on the “Six: The Musical” website.
