The 44-minute special delivers a magical north pole with wonderful animation. The world is gloomy due to this year’s unusual circumstances. The talented and humorous Tiffaney Hash plays as the narrator of the story. Billy Eichner plays head elf and reaches out to Mariah for assistance in bringing back the life-force of Christmas cheer.
Mariah performs a new version of “Oh Santa” a song from her second Christmas album “Merry Christmas II You” released back in 2010 and is celebrating its twentieth anniversary. A new version of the song includes Ariana Grande and Jennifer Hudson who perform with the singer.
Then later joining the stage a Jolly Snoop Dog and Jermaine Dupri, helping Mariah spread the holiday joy.
