The name of Father, is just another name for Love.
Father's Day is upon us, so let's celebrate some of the hard working fathers of the music industry!
Woven between the hundreds of black lives matter posts and inspirational videos on his Instagram feed, can be found countless posts of Diddy celebrating his family. Quincy, Justin Dior, King, Chance, and twins D'Lila and Jessie have all their seamlessly followed their father's footsteps creating music and starring in films. During these unfortunate hard times, Diddy and his children hosted a dance-a-thon via Instagram in an effort to raise funds for essential care workers during COVID-19.
John Legend has been gifting the world his voice for years now and his journey through fatherhood began 4 years ago. Legend is the father of two beautiful children, Luna and Miles. He can be seen with his kids involved in everything he does, from playing the piano and dancing, to enjoying a good game of hide-and-seek during quarantine.
Ziggy Marley, son of the legendary Bob Marley, followed his father's path into music and philanthropy. With 7 beautiful children, his hands are quite full. Ziggy can be found teaching his children the ways and importance of healthy living. Marley recently took part in the new Billboard Kids and taught a kid friendly basic guitar lesson. Family has always been Ziggy Marley's focus, from bringing his kids to the studio, to his project "Family Time," his family is one.
Drake seems to have mastered everything the music industry has to offer. Two years ago he entered a new stage of life, with the birth of his beautiful son Adonis Graham. This new journey will be full of moments that we can hope he will commemorate in some new music!
Being a father requires a special amount of love and compassion. On this day, celebrate your father and all the fathers in your life, as they have embarked on a journey in raising young kings and queens.
