Ariana Grande to drop new Netflix Documentary "excuse me, i love you"

In a recent announcement, pop star Ariana Grande announced that she will be releasing her own documentary on the streaming platform, Netflix, on December 21st.


Ariana Grande is a Grammy Award-Winning artist and actress who is known for many popular songs from "thank u, next," "God is a woman," "Problem" etc. Others may know her from her various roles on TV, from Victorious or The Winx Club.


The documentary follows Ariana throughout the duration of her Sweetener World Tour which took place between March of 2019 until December of 2019. Throughout the duration of this tour, Grande performed in 16 countries from the United States to Finland and hosted 101 different shows. The Netflix show, excuse me, I love you, is set to release exactly one year after the final show of the Sweetener World Tour.


Grande first hinted at the collaboration on December 8th, after she had posted some images of herself performing on tour.

Ariana mentioned the Netflix Twitter account in the tweet, leading fans to speculate a possible collab between the two. The day after, December 9th, she announced on her Twitter that the rumors and speculation were true and "excuse me, I love you" was coming to Netflix.


Both Netflix and Ariana herself have been creating a buzz around the movie, fans plaguing social media with theories, excitement, and celebration leading up to the release of the documentary. There have been first looks, clips, trailers, and a load of content surrounding the release.


On Instagram, Ariana Grande posted a chronological list of all the fun and exciting content being released up to the full release of the documentary including an Instagram filter, custom documentary-themed gifs, and more.

Many fans are excited for the release, heading to Twitter to express their excitement leading up to excuse me, I love you's release.


This documentary comes soon after the release of Grande's new album "Positions" released during the second half of 2020. It seems like fans of Grande, aptly named "Arianators," are being gifted with ample content this year.


It was also revealed recently, in the buzz around the release of the new documentary, that Ms. Grande has recently engaged her longtime boyfriend of nearly 1 year, Dalton Gomez. The couple announced the engagement over social media on December 20th, Grande showing off the glittering diamond and pearl combo ring on Instagram.

Some fans are speculating that the engagement happened during the Sweetener World Tour back in 2019 and that the happy couple was waiting to reveal themselves to the public.
