3300+ Hosts Virtual Social Scene

Last Wednesday, Full Sail students were treated to a Virtual Treehouse session which was fully put on by 3300+ Climbing's Street Team: scouting the artists that performed, scheduling each activity during the event, and marketing the event itself. During the post-Covid world, this was a great and relaxing treat because students were treated to a variety of artists and games. Given that most students, whether they are new or have been at Full Sail during the last year, have had to make a lot of compromises in having their entire education and activities online. However, every activity at this event was related to music and its history, which made it even more fun.

Most of the students that attended the zoom session were from the Music Business, Entertainment Business, Creative Writing, Music Production, and Recording Arts majors. It was a networking success and experience considering that it was the first time in many months that students could interact with students from different programs.

Both Mardell "Phunc" Miller and Patti Riffe did an excellent job of hosting the online virtual session by being approachable and fun. There were games that were played through Kahoot! and that led to everyone feeling part of the crowd. Phunc and Patti were a great combination because Phunc had the swag and hipness while Patti was sweet and assertive.

The musical event had performances from artists with different music genres like Fito Espinola, Of Brighter Skies, Angel Vernice (Angel V), and Sad Hippie. There was a variety of music for everyone's musical tastes and that diversity was what made the event so special.
